Why This Matters

Grief, trauma, ill-health, crisis — they don’t just knock the wind out of you. They change your life in ways people don’t always see.

I started the Foundation in Mark’s memory because I know what it’s like to lose someone suddenly, to be left picking up the pieces with no support, no plan, and no idea how to keep going.

This charity exists to offer practical support in the middle of emotional chaos — small grants, no judgement, fast help when life’s already too heavy.

And this blog?

This is where I write the stuff no one talks about.

Widowhood. Trauma. Grief. Stress. The days when getting dressed feels like an achievement.

It started as a way for me to survive the unbearable. It’s grown into a space where I speak honestly about what it means to keep going when nothing feels okay.

You won’t find self-help fluff here. Just the truth, told with heart.
Sometimes that truth is messy. Sometimes it’s hopeful. Sometimes it’s both at once.

If you’ve ever felt broken, burnt out, or left behind — this space is for you x
